Energy Saving

From the very first day my new boss step in to our office, she had mentioned about her concerns about green, environmental friendly, as well as energy saving. All of the staffs are working towards to achieve the same goal. Recycle and reuse, fully utilized of recycle bins and used paper, switch off the lights when there are not in used, these are the minimum requirement that we all need to do every day.

These suppose to be done by every staffs but unfortunately some of them are not corporate. For example, whenever lunch time, they will just go off and leave the office. Only two or three of us will care about energy saving by switch off all the lighting. I understand that most of our company's LED Light Bulbs having long lasting useful life and some more energy saving. But this should become a good behavior as I believe that this simple and easy little action is part of the responsible to save the energy and save the environment.

This problem bring our boss attention last Friday as all of us out for lunch without switch off the LED Lighting and the company main entrance door are unlocked. The punishment is all of us have to take shift during lunch hour!

I do wish every colleague have awareness on that and make sure all the Light Bulbs are switched off and doors are locked when they leave office every evening.

Continue Stay Healthy!

For sure this is a very enjoyable holiday. I had applied three days annual leave and will only resume working on next Monday. Although I not entitle to enjoy extra money from the expected bonus, but it didn't spoil my CNY mood.

Reunion, visiting friends and relatives, this is the only activity on CNY but I like it. I like to see my princesses acting when they are receiving Ang Pow. :P But the most importance is I am so happy to know that all of them are living healthily especially my auntie who suffers from stroke last year. Yes, nothing is importance than having healthy life. New Year started means all of us are one year elder. Aging seems like so horrible. Nothing is importance than keep up our health life. Wishing everybody continue stay healthy!

Secured with Life Insurance

No matter how difficult I am, I promise to myself never breakup my life insurance. I feel unsecured if my life insurance is terminated.

I brought my second life insurance after my recovery to pleural effusion. From the day I suffered the illnesses, I realize that some sickness can comes with no symptoms and we may just gone with unknown. I always claim that I am the lucky one because I am at the earlier stage and I get fully recovery from the illness. And because of the illness, I know that nothing is importance than having a health life.

I believe as long as we well prepared, we are no longer worry with what will is happen even it's an accident. This is the reason I brought a second life insurance which with higher sum insured under my affordable price range. As all of you know, this is the basic requirement when buying insurance. This is a long term investment. Choice one that is within your budget and you are comfortable with the installment and protection. I don't like those people who feel that paying insurance is a burden to them. Paying for being secured why you feel that is a burden?

I feel secured after buying the insurance. Or to say, my family members are secured. I can ensure that if any thing happens to me (*touch wood*), they can enjoy the benefits from the insurance. This is the reason I will never give any excuse to myself to discontinue my life insurances.

Auspicious Day to start work in 2009

I received this email last two weeks. Actually this is my second year received this kind of message. Do you believe in this?

After forwards this email to my colleagues, every one are looking at it and planning on their resume work day after Chinese New Year. Our office will be closed from 24/01/09 to 28/01/09. As I know, most of the Chinese colleagues will back to work only on 2nd of February, Monday. But after consideration of the chart, some of them had changed their mind and plan to start work early. I think most head of department should thank me on this. LOL

Last Minutes Memo

Finally it's Friday. Every one had already well prepared and we are going to celebrate the Chinese New Year holidays for at least 4 days rest. But until the very last minutes, we received a memo from our boss saying that we need to 'voluntary contribute' one day of our annual leave because our office will be closed on next Wednesday 28/01/09. Yes, every staff's annual leave will be deducted one day because of this. *sigh*

For those who already applied leave on that day, that will not be a big deal. Extended of holidays means we have a chance to take more rest at home or we may spend more! :P

Anyway, I have decided to make full use of the day. Don't you think this is the best day dealing with government departments or private sectors for own business? I can guarantee you will no need to have long queue on that day.

Don't Give Up

I did know that it's not an easy task after breakup a relationship for more than 18 years. What will you do if you found that a man who is importance in your life had close relationship with third party? She makes up her decision to breakup.

She is a business woman having successful business but she never though that will be the main reason for her man to having chances dating with other girl. Because of her busy life, she has leak of time to accompany him. Is it her fault? Why a busy successful woman will gets such a punishment? This is what she complained to me.

I suggest her to start her new life. You will never know how attractive and how importance you are until the right one comes into your life. There is noting about aging. I found one online dating site called date a cougar. From there you can see you are not the only one cougar but they are positively and brave to search for their loves. I like the site idea. Don't give up and forget the one who hurt you before. As long as you give a chance to yourself and take the opportunity. Believe me, you can find your Mr. Right one day!

Brightness

A lamp is just a lamp in day time. You will only see the beauty of its lights when the day is dark.

How can you justify a person by just a talk, a word or even a smile?

I believe every one have their brightness which you may need some times to investigate.

Back to Busy Life

Since the new school year started, I am back to my busy life. This means that I have to wake up early in the morning for my two little princesses but not for myself.

I can do whatever I like in the early morning during school holidays but not now. And this is the reason why my blogs are hiatus. Give me some time! Once I am usual myself to wake up more early in the morning, then I am sure I manage to update my blog as usual. :P

Plan a Trip

Because hubby is one of the finalists of the NDTV International Photography Competition, he has been invited to attend the award ceremony. I helped hubby to search on the related website so that he manage to reach the venue on time for the event.

I search and found a direct flight to US JFK airport. Since the organizer had arranged for the hotel, I just checked on the JFK Car Service so that hubby has no problem to reach the hotel. Both of the two arrangements can be done easily via online internet booking with no hassle. But hubby told me at last minutes that he refused to attend the award ceremony.

Anyway, it's a very good experience for me to learn on how to plan a trip to foreign country. I not been to US before and I am totally not familiar with the venue. So I using the convenience of the internet, surfing through the online map and informative websites to find the venue and follow by identified the hotel location. This is totally different from sign up with those traveling packages where we can be free of headache about air flights, hotels, as well as car rental services.
