Shame to Drive Old Car

I advised my nephew to buy a second hand car as he going to change his workplace which he needs transport to reach there. My main concern is about his safety and financial status. His basic pay is not much. He told me that he wishes to buy a brand new motorcycle but I stop him. My main reason is because motorcycle is not safety compare to a car. If he manages to pay for a brand new motorcycle, why not use the money for a used car?

Do you feeling shame when you driving an old car? I don’t know why he had such feeling. What’s wrong is driving a used car?

It’s ok to spend the money as down payment for a new car as well but he needs to consider about the burden of monthly installment and car maintenance at the same time. That is what he can not afford at his current stage. If he goes for a second hand car, then all he needs to spend will only the repair and maintenance costs. If he is lucky to find one that in good and manageable condition maybe the he can save the cost some more.

But he told me that he don’t want to drive second hand car as he claimed that with the money he afford to pay, the models are not much for his choice. And those used cars models are old and outdated looking. He didn’t like that way.

This is not a good reason. What is the reason to buy a car? That is because of the convenience and safety issue. These are the two main reasons that he needs to consider and these are the priority as well. He can buy a new and latest edition whenever he is affordable. The importance is he needs to settle his current problem. I just don’t understand nowadays what this young people thinking….

Memory Keep Forever

My friend asked me to find for her any software or services transfer 8mm Film to DVD. It’s the fact that nowadays no body will keep those outdated media as once the player is out of service they are not able to find an alternative player for those outdated media. This is the realistic world. Especially for electrical items, we can see nowadays new and latest trend is coming and those old designed are outdated and we can’t even find any alternative ways to continue using it unless we go for upgrading.

My friend wish to find the 8mm Film to DVD transfer service for her wedding video. That’s the most memorable one that she wishes to keep it forever. She told me that this is one of the items that she will never throw it away even though if she really can’t find any alternative way to open or view it. Luckily technology nowadays is superb and amazing. To do the filem transfer to DVD format is not a difficult task as they are company offering such service.

This can consider good news for her now. At least we find her the solution. But now she is worrying will the video loss in the middle of transit to the service provider. That is the one and only video she had. She told me that she will make all her effort to ensure that the item is safely arrived to the service provider. :D

Where is the Happiness?

I love this when I received this from one of my friends. Sometimes I keep on asking myself why I am not happy? Yes. I have strongly feeling that I am not happy. But what is the main reason make me feeling unhappy? I am sure that will not be only one but plenty of small and little little things that I feeling not right.

I am the one make myself feeling unhappily. Instead of keep on asking myself why I am not happy, why not change and thinking on why to keep on my happiness?

Hair Loss Problem

I am actually aware about this problem since last year. I noticed it when the time my friend asked me what happened with my hair. That was a day I tied my hair a bit different as usual. I never thought that the new style of tying hair made me looked like I am bald. I checked properly and found that I am having hair loss problem. And from the day onwards, I not brave to tie my hair again. *sob*

I am only thirty plus now but my hairline is getting higher now. This is really horrible! I totally can not accept the fact! How come aging happened so fast to me?

Actually I know that both me and my bro have our dad's gene which we suffering hair loss at young age. I just can not imagine my looks when my hair loss similar likes my dad now.

Last time we did suggest my dad go for hair transplant but he refused to do so. He claimed that is natural and he don't want any artificial hair. He is not even wearing wig or even hat to hide his bald. I always feel that he is so brave.

My brother now is undergoing hair loss treatment. Since it is at the beginning stage, we still can not see any different from his treatment. He said he will only consider hair transplant if the treatment package failed. What I do now is trying to comb my hair nicely and hide the bald area. I need to keep my hair style in proper manner all day long so that I can maintain nice looking. I do wish I have no change to be one of the hair transplant surgery customers. Cross my finger and pray hard. Never ever to be the one need hair transplant service!

Drug Test

Since the day I started working, I worked in small firms. I had been working in few companies before but most are in family business or the partners are friends' relationship. Some more I didn't really go for proper interview. Mostly are friend's recommendations. I still remember one company which they didn't even have proper appointment letter until I joined the company. I am the one prepared my appointment letter on my first day started working with the company. Sounds funny, huh? :P

But when the time I apply for my current company, I learned the proper procedure of recruitment. At least I learned that a company will still reject you even you are the one they need if you are not fulfill their recruitment requirement.

The one that make me surprise is we need to pass a drug test before the company confirm to accept a new staff.

This is totally new to me. I received phone called from HR and asked me make an appointment and proceed to their panel doctor for check up. I need to wait the report and prove that I have pass drug test that certified by their panel doctor.

I felt silly at that moment. But still I go for it because the company offers attractive benefits. :P Luckily I received the appointment one week later after I successfully passed the test.

Actually this is one of the ways a company to protect themselves and their employees as well. If all of their staffs passing drug tests successfully, then every one are happy as all of the staffs are in good health condition.

For a company, they can save times and cost on spending to a good health employee. For a job hunter like me, not only I gain a free drug test but also I get my new job.

Invest in Share Trading

My colleague discuss with me today about his interest in current local share trading. I am not surprise actually this is not the first time he talked about this topic. He told me that currently will be the best time to go for investment as some potential company pricing is very low now. But I still not dare to give any idea or opinion. I have no experience about it so I don't want to express anything.

That are his money and of course, he can do what ever he likes. I am not sure whether he is a good high risk taker but investment is no 100% profit. Some times it needs to depend on luck as well.

I did hear about trade signal service. This is one of the ways to get reliable info and sources to study on before we take any action. We need to study the market first, at least we will not regret with what and which we had chosen.

If possible, I do hope that he can direct contact trading advisory for professional advice and suggestion and help him to manage his investment. Perhaps he can spend some times on finding a reliable advisory. Besides, he needs to put more efforts on analyze those info provided from trading signals. The concern not only the particular trading earning history but further plans contracts and profitability as well.

Shall I advice him about all this? Else, I just ask him to search and survey from internet and let him study himself.

Retirement

I never plan when my day of retirement actually. When talking about this issue, most my friends told me that they wish to retired at early age but not after 50 years old. They wish to be retired as soon as possible. I think this is because most of them prefer enjoy the rest of their life with freedom and no working pressure. But I prefer to work until the day I can not work. Maybe I am money madness. I can't stand if I have no fixed income one day. *LOL*

But we encourage my father retired at his age around 45 years old. We do so because we don't want him to continue working. He was a carpenter. The work needs many energy and we feel that our father not deserve to continue with the job. He should have a better lifestyle and now he is.

We did consider that once he discontinued working, he will be bored at home but luckily we are too worried. He enjoying gardening everyday and he has his own activities with his group of retired friends. This is why his life is more fun and healthier compare to before.

For sure we need to maintain our healthy body at old age so that we deserve to enjoy freedom and relaxing retirement life. Furthermore, we need to well plan where the place is and what is the best situation to continue survived after retired. Earth Hour 2009

Earth Hour is inviting every one who living in the earth to switch off lights for ONE hour at 8.30pm on 28th March 2009, Saturday night. They aim to gather and achieve to reach more than one billion people in 1000 cities around the world in 2009. I had already signed up to be one of them. I am sure you will be the one as well.

I do this is not for myself. This is for my kids. Our environment will be worst. This is the fact. I didn't wish it to be better than now but at least the situation can be maintained.

I read from newspaper about Japan Volunteers Group send wheelchairs for our local disabled kids. What a good news! For those who are in needed, they not necessary need brand new power wheelchairs but a used one already a second lease in their life.

No matter newspaper, clothes, furniture or other daily items in life. As long as it is still useable, it could be a gift to others who are in needed. This is for recycle, for our environment as well as for good and kindness.

90 Days Meternity Leave

Here comes another attractive benefit to being a government servant. This surely a superb good news especially for those to be pregnant women. This means that you will get pay for a whole year salary but only work for 9 months a year. Hmmm, maybe I should consider being a government servant as well. :P

If I am working with the government, I am surely will go for 3rd child. At least I can have more times to get together with my new born baby. :P

But I do worry those bad habits of those government servants will become even worst than current situation....

Dare to lick?

I believe every candy lollipop is the child favorite. Myself especially love those round, big and in colorful one. I can spend my whole day just to finish one because I don't want it to be finish so fast. :P

But when I found this. I nearly faint!

Lesson Learned from Three Malaysian killed in Taiwan Fire

This is really a bad news. When reading this from newspaper, I feel so sad. How can it be? That supposes to be a happy vacation but end up with such a bad luck!

Whenever we go to a new place, we need to find out and beware of where is the emergency exist. I don't even care about this before I read this from newspaper. This brings my attention and a lesson for me.

I am aware now how importance is those exit signs in a building. Those are not simply just a signage but awareness to all of us in an emergency. I do believe that every single exit sign in a building should be located in a right place and maintain in good condition. That is the responsibility of the building management to take cares of their users.

Look for the EXIT SIGNS whenever you go into a building. This is the basic that you need to know, I think. I will be more concern about this starting from now on as I believe the faster we reach the fire escape, the safer we are. This has to be aware especially we overnight during our vacation. No one can predict the bad things happened but we can minimize the risk.

But I just don't like those purposely living their comments with ads. I am so sorry to say that I can't agree with this kind of advertisement. I apologize for not publish all your efforts done. Sorry, I just can't accept this!

Changeable Life

Once again our management team having a new planning. Once again, I see how changeable they are. A colleague who attended the meeting told us that our marketing team will shift their place next to our department. Well, if you not aware then I tell you. We shifted to our current office for not more than 9 months and now the management wants to renovate again.

They claimed that the current location needs to rebuild as a new sales gallery. I am wondering is it our company too rich and no way to spend. I think this is the worst part of our management team. This should be well plan before we moved. I mean, if they design and well plan the current office and sales gallery, then the cost incurred definitely will be saver compare to they do it right now. Those already built now need to remove and make a new design one. It’s waste!

Another one that I concern is the decision affected my department. We are going to move so that the place can fit in marketing team as well. Perhaps they will employ Moving Company to help us on this. I don’t wan to be a coolie again!

Worry

I pray hard my life can goes smooth as now. I am so worry with the current economy situation. The records shown that more and more people getting jobless and this is the fact. With the BLR rate getting lower, inflation is now longer far from us. What will be the worst happen if economy downturn? I just can’t imagine.

I pray hard both hubby and me can continuously get paid under the same employment. This is the basic requirement now. This is the very basic and fixed income for our family. I just can not imagine what will happen if one of us having no income at all…..

Compensation

My colleague will enjoy her 10 days holidays end of this month. She is so exciting for the day comes. But I am not. I know I not suppose to be envy. I know I am not supposed to be selfish but I just hate this. She is our assistance and I know her workflow is heavy as mine. I totally can imagine what will happen when she is off.

If she take leave for one or two days is ok for us. But for 10 continuous days leave, I will be the one die first. Why I say so? Because not any one else but me will be the one need to take over her daily job. *sob*

She plans her trip and she did show me her New York Tours selection before she make decision. And this supposes to be a good enough reason for the pre-notification. But I just can not accept the fact. I show her my nearly crazy face when she told me that her leave application been approved by the boss. Oh my! I really hate this!

To show her appreciation of my helping hand, I ask her to buy me at least three different prices souvenirs from US. Yes. That is to compensate my 10 days suffers and pains! *LOL*

Form E Submission Deadline

A friendly reminder to all of you who in-charged of preparing Form E. I think you aware about the due date for submission is end of this month. Hopefully you manage to finish fill up together with the Form EA preparation.

I just received my EA form from my HR. With the help of payroll system, it can be done even faster I think.

Computer Problems

Whenever I having computer problem I will try to fix it with my limited computer repair knowledge. But when I can’t find the solution then I will ask helps from friends. No matter by phone calls or online chatting. The main reason is I like to learn on how to solve and how to prevent to same problem happen to my computer. Actually the fact is I wish to save on repairing cost. LOL

For those who are lucky, they having IT technician in the company and all computer matters can be solve easily. Just imagine what happen if your computer falls and break down during your traveling. What can you do?

This bad experience happened to Grace’s boss yesterday. Luckily she manage to find manhattan it services and helped her boss to get out the data files before her boss meet the client for presentation. Well, from here we learned that you need a cleaver and efficient secretary to be a successful businessman. :P

But how if you are not a boss and you face the same problem likes him? My suggestion is you need to search and keep at least one or two computer services companies at your travel place so that you can get help immediately. :P

I got it, finally

Finally I received my Form BE last week. I don't know how IRB distribute out the forms as 3 persons having accounts with IRB in the same address but we received the forms at different days. Or, this is the post office problem? I am really no idea.

This is not my concern now as long as I already get my form. When I will dig out all my relevant documents to start the tax computation? I really need to and have to well plan about this. End of April will be the deadline. I have 7 weeks to complete it. I wish I can change my bad habits as a last minutes lover. :P

Her Dream

I visited my primary school friend just now. We met at a local shopping mall without our children along and we spend around 3 hours talking non stop. It's a great time with her as we have not met each other for more than 3 years. The last we met was on her wedding day and now she is already a 2 kid's mom.

I think life is difficult to fill with satisfied. The one that you don't have is the one you wish to. I am envy her as a full time mom but she jealous me as a working mom. LOL

I still remember she shared with me her dreams few years back and we did talked about this issue. She likes painting very much. This is her hobby since young. She told me that one day she going to hang her paints at the street and waiting for praise and laud from the crowds. She told me that she already not brave to make the dream comes true and all or paints are safe keeping at Art Storage. This is her dream and now this seems like a secret keep between two of us. Dream is always a beautiful one....

Security Routine Work

What is the job of a security? I though they will be the kind of freedom job. But I am wrong. They not only need to pay full attention of the environment but they need to help on others as well. I just discover that they need to do some silly works ordered by our management. They need to allocated staffs to switch on and off the Astro system at particular time. They instructed to keep inform the building cleaning team if they found little or rubbish in the building area. They may help us to handle those flyer or brochure or letters or bills or notice or others by putting into residences mailbox. Sounds funny?

Investment

Nowadays people are so worry with the economy downturn. What you will do in this critical period? I do hear people said to keep the excess money rather than go for investment. But I do hear some encourage people to go for it. I think this depends on what level you are. If you are the kind of prefer high risk high returns. You can find there are many stocks having lower prices now. It’s an opportunity isn’t it?

Besides, I am not sure how the risk of dealing Monex but if I have extra money, I would like to have a try.

I told my friend Chin about my sis wedding preparation this morning. This can be hassle without a wedding planner helping hand but she decided to take the challenge. She wants it to be a perfect one and she claimed that no body is as know as her.
