Oh my. Again this happens to me.

Previously I will still suspected what's goes wrong with me. Since I had the first experience, this time I quickly go for medication after the symptom comes again.

I know I must take good care of my kidney. I am so sure that this happen because I don't like to go toilet. The distance of my office with the public toilet makes me feel lazy to go. I promise myself to change this bad habit. I just can not imagine when if this sickness goes worst and I force to wear kendall briefs everyday. No matter how good the quality of the briefs is, I should not allow myself to have to chance to use it! :P

She had Tender

I received a letter from my life insurance company informed about the resignation of my insurance agent. I have no surprise with it. A woman who is a full time working mom really hard to take good care of their part time job. This is not the first case I meet. I do wish that she manages to hit her target and become a full time insurance agent. This is one of the free schedule jobs that a mother wish to have. But some times it is not really work if they do not have good guide or to say no good strategy.

But I am a bit feeling unhappy as she not inform us in advance. As an insurance agent, we value your services to your customers. Even though you had tender, you should be responsible to inform us before we getting this news from your company. More over, she is one of my friends. I just feel that she is more to business than being friend with me....

And this is the special note that I must take down and I am going to share with my HR colleague: -

Tax Planning: Since the expenses are tax deductible to employer, it would be tax efficient for the employee to forgo their bonus in exchange for these benefits as child care allowance, medical expenses on traditional medicine and maternity expenses that are given by the employer to the employee are tax exempt on the employee’s hand.

Alternatively, employer may consider providing these benefits to the employee at the additional cost to the business but it gives employee loyalty to the firm in long run.

I still believe that bonus is one of the rewards to employees for their contribution to a company. If the company willing to pay for this, that's for sure is the best. But if the company can consider treat the rewards paying to staffs with other form of expenses as the above suggestion, I am sure employees will love it as well.

I am looking forward our company will allow us to claim on the traditional medicine fees and giving child care allowance. :P

Income Tax Submission

Have you done your tax computation & submission? For those who earning no business income, please submit you Form BE immediately as the deadline is on 30.04.10 for the Year 2009 Assessment. Today is 27/04/10. Please take action immediately.

Please take this as a serious matter as you may aware of the penalty incurred for late tax submission. No matter you are taxable or not, you should file the tax submission on time no matter you submit online or over the IRB counter. This is the basic requirement that every one needs to follow.

It is no hassle and so convenience now to file taxes online with the facility of e-filling. For those who gaining employment income, the tax filling is so simply and you can just do it by yourself provided you learned and update all the latest tax reliefs and exemptions so that you will not pay more tax. For those who earning business income, you are advice to get consult from the tax agents to have a good tax planning ahead and best protect yourself to less tax burden.

I am appreciated to all the stuffs in IRD department for doing their good jobs. For sure they will be very busy for these few days to entertain those last minutes submission.

Shipment from US

My colleague told me that she will go to on one week leave in the mid of May. She just got approval on her leave application. Since she is the only person in the department she direct report to our big boss. She really afraid that her leave application will not getting approved because she still got so many tasks on hand. Luckily our big boss is a nice boss. Our big boss not even asked her the reason why she took such a long leave when she signed on the leave approval.

My colleague is planning to get back all her belongings in US. The house that she stayed when the time in US will be return to by the owner. Her house mate who still helps her to keep her things is asking her to settle all her belongings before she moved. Now she got no choice but need to fly to US to settle this.

It's a hassle when talking about moving and storage in overseas. If she take back all her stuffs, maybe she will needs to employ a long distance moving company to help her on the smooth shipment. If she wishes to safe cost, she will give some of the big stuffs to her friends in US rather then ship back to Malaysia. I am wondering will she miss all her belongings which full of memories....

3D Window Films

I always dream that I can own a house on the beach. A seaside vacation home which I can enjoy my holiday. I can go there whenever I need to rest and relax and re-charge my energy. The blue sky, sandy beach, and sunny day are the best view that I can fully relax my mind. Of course this is only my dream as I am not affordable to have one at this moment. Perhaps this dream will comes true one day. But before the dream comes true, I think I can do something to boost up morale towards my dream.

I just discovered a company selling window films. I fall in love with the 3D films they are selling. With the installation of beautiful window tinting Virginia , no matter where our house is, we can enjoy the good view and scenery that we love to see.

If I installed the seaside beach view on my house’s window, then I can enjoy the wonderful seaside 3D scenery every day. This is truly a good motivation for me to work harder to achieve my dream to be a seaside vacation home owner.

It's Fixed

It's fixed finally after 5 days.

Since I complaint to Telekom on last Friday about my home phone line no dial tone and no internet service available at all, they finally help me to solve this problem today. I have no idea why they need so many days to settle my problem. Perhaps they can give me a fair answer.

5 days without phone line service is definitely a small matter as I am using mobile phone. The fixed phone line that I signed up is just for the internet usage. I am really angry I can not online for these 5 days!

To me, although they taken 3 working days to help me fixed my problem but their service provided are 30 / 31 days in a month. I am going to request for a rebate or discount or whatever for these 5 days phone and internet charges!

Alternative Places to Online

My sis in law is waiting for the reply from cosmetology school in North Carolina about their new in-take study time table. She has submitted her request last week. Unfortunately because of our home phone line and internet problem, she not manages to check on the reply from them.

I suggest her go to those outlets or restaurants which having free WIFI service to check her mailbox. But too bad her laptop was sent to repair and she will only get it back by this weekend. To else her worries, maybe I should spend some time accompany her go to internet cafe together to check and see whether any reply email from the cosmetology school.

No Phone Line, No Internet Connection

No internet, no phone line. This is my situation at home right now. I just can not imaging what will happen if I don't even have service with my mobile phone. This is no fun at all.

Since last Friday evening, my home fixed phone line gone and this immediately effected the internet connection. I had been calling Telekom several times and getting the same answer where their technicians are doing their jobs.

What I can do is be patient and wait. Let's see how many days they need to fix this problem!

Amazing Fruit & Vegetable Carving Art

This is truly amazing! This is really a fantastic job especially for me as a women who no good in art and cooking. :P

Fruit & vegetable carving art not only required the creativity idea but the skill and patient are importance as well. I am salute to those who carve. The time spending is one thing. If for me, I will feel so sad because the fruit and vegetable can not last long period. So many efforts they already put to create such a beautiful carve art but end with short life.....

A Question from an Employee

I had been told me that my ex-boss just brought a new Chevy. This is a good signed. I think his business is getting better and better now. I had already leaved the company for more than two years. Every thing seems like going smoother compare to before. I am really happy to hear that he is recovered from the financial problem and able to purchase new assets some more.

The new Chevy Colorado is just great for his big size body. Besides, this new car not only can be his private car as well as truck for company's goods delivery. I am sure his business can pick up even faster with the new vehicle purchased.

But my ex-colleague is so angry when she shared with me that my ex-boss aims to buy a new bmw 3 series this year end. I know the reason why she felt angry. She not gets any increment since two years ago. When the critical period of the company, she continued work with the company with 10% decreased of salary. This year company 'increased' her pays back to normal. For her, this is not considered as an increment.

This is the question she asked: Why all the bosses are the same? They will spend for their own luxury life but not willing to spend to rewards their staffs that help to generate income for them?

Finally I found The Best Free Wordpress Themes For Download. I spent so much time to search online and this is the one I love the most.

I know I should not waste so many times to do so as I have not found the best solution on how to migrate my site from Blogger to Wordpress. I already get used blogging here. Moreover I am not sure how many times I need to waste to learn, migrate and blog with Wordpress. But because I finally found the best Wordpress theme design, I will give myself a chance to try. I just fall in love with the beautiful theme designs there. I must re-schedule my timetable for this ambition. Wish me good luck!

Parenting

Chat with my friend about parenting this afternoon. Parenting is one of the life lessons. This is the subject we can not escape after we become people's parent. There is not certification on who is the best. Every one is the best mom and dad. Parent loves to children are even more than loves to themselves.

I am in the contradiction. What I hope is my princesses can be happy always. But life is no fun at all. The burden of study, the tie schedule, the communication problems, all these make me feel stress and lose patient always. The higher expectation I set, the higher burden to the kids. Shall I lower my expectation? If so, what happen when a day my princesses grow and ask me why I never put high hope and believe in their talents?

Right time to Invest?

I am interested to buy gold bullion since the day I discovered such a way of investment. It is the fact that gold price is increase significantly and the returns are really attractive. I wait and wait for the right time. I will not borrow money and invest. This is not a good practice. I am planning to buy in when the price is low. But the price is kept on increasing now.

I did update the exchange rate and found that now the USD is cheaper compare to before. If I buy gold at low price in USD, then I sell it when USD price rise. For sure I can enjoy the good returns. Any one has comments about my plan? Please advice.

Job Hunt

There are few posts at my company open for vacancy. I had been told that the respond are very good. I know that many people are looking for job but I never thought that getting a job is so different.

A position which gets more than 50 applicants after filter by the interviewer, only 15 are fulfills the requirements. But after first and second round interview, there are still no decisions make on which will be the newbie who gain the empty position. It is because the job applicants nowadays are low in quality or less working moralities or our boss is high of expectation?

Sleeplessness

My colleague shared with us that she is facing sleeplessness problem. She is 8 years younger than me. She is always sleeplessness at Sunday night. I did ask is this happen since she joined our company? Luckily this is not what I think. I just worry our office working pressure make her sleepless every Sunday night.

The strange part is she can sleep well every day except Sunday. Every Monday we can see her tired face and she will definitely take nap during lunch hour. She is still finding the reasons why she is sleeplessness on Sunday only.

I am thankful that this problem never happened to me. As for me, insomnia, not enough sleep and rest is the pain of life. I love sleeping every much. :P

Speedy Internet Service Needed

I really can not stand the internet break down when we communicate online half way. I hate to see that my chat room turn grey and the icon showed me the offline signal. I get frustrated with the useless internet package that my company signed. This happened very often. Some times I really don’t know is the service provider providing the service or just con for money.

How can I bring my boss attention about this issue? She is always not in office. She not even needs this company internet access. How to let her know the serious of our terrible dial up connection problem?

Shall I encourage the satellite internet provider to contact her directly? Then ask them to pursuit her to sign up their service. A mini-dish and a small modem do not take many places of our office and the building. The most importance thing is I wish to get the internet connection and access service of every surfing up to 30 times faster than the current dial up. I just need a fast internet service which can make my works go smooth. I don’t like to work overtime. I really worry my health because of the terrible internet service make my work more pressure and spoilt my mood and health. I am trying and control myself always be patient and not to spread my angry to the office furniture….

Shall I tell her like this: Boss, if you want to save on overtime cost, medical cost and upkeep cost of the company, please sign up the satellite internet service!
