He is No.1

This is hubby's latest best achievement. It is no doubt that his photography skill is getting better and better. But if without the help of photo editing software talent, he can not perform it so well. I wish to take this opportunity to thanks Mr.KH Yap for his kindness teaching and sharing. I am so happy to know that they are not only challenge to each others but they learn and share their knowledge, skills and experience to each others.

Multi-Investment

I heard that my friend consider to stop investing in stock market. She plans to shift her fund to buy gold coins due to her limited time to keep track her stock prices. It is no doubt that gold price is getting higher now where she can get better in return as long as she do not facing any lose of her current stock in hand.

I do believe multi-investment will be the best investment strategy. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. This is advice by all the profession. For me, both investments are good to try if I have extra fund to invest.

Fast Turnover

Another colleague same department with me is tendered. This is the 3rd person leaving in same department. He will leave very soon because he still goes many unclaimed annual leave balance. Is it possible to hand over smoothly without the replacement? I am in doubt.

What do you think if a company's turnover is so fast? From Chinese New Year until now, they are already 4 persons leaved. Now is another one. Some more most of them are department head. What's wrong with the Feng Shui's of this company?

Busy Kedai Telekom

I went to Telekom two weeks before but fail to submit my claim. I know I should not go during lunch hour. But what time I should go beside that? According to my dispatch goes there often, the place is always full of people no matter they are paying bills, upgrade or downgrade packages or others related matters. I think I should apply one day leave to do this. Then I asked myself is it worth to do so. I am in doubt whether they will entertain me because the failure happened two months ago and I only submit my claim for rebate now. :P

Snow in Malaysia One Day

The weather chances are significant due to global warming. More and more unexpected natural disasters are happening every day without prediction. I feel so sad to read such news every day. Who is the one making such chances? Human being!

Temperature is increase significantly even after rain. Previously our air conditioners set at 23 degree are good enough to produce cool environment. Now we set at 21 degree but still we feel the heat from outdoor. What we do next? Set at even lower degree!

People are urged to reduce air-conditioning by 2°C every day to against climate change. Too bad we can not stand for the current hot temperature and increase the burden of our mother earth. This is really a bad cycle.

What about your furnaces? I understand that there are countries facing early winter and the temperature dropped abruptly. Climate change is not only people's problem but we all are facing the same attack.

I am not used to write such serious topic. I just wish to express my worries. Maybe I am over-sensitive but I really have such thinking that maybe our country will snow one day. Guess where I live? Malaysia!

Members' Day

It's so happy when received the notice via SMS regarding the members' day of a shopping center nearby my house. This is one that I am waiting for. I do know that this will be a day the place will full of crowd. Besides, we will need to speed long hours there to queue for payment.

I am excited to go since my sis agreed to accompany me. I really need some one help even when shopping. This enjoyable session will no longer be happy because I need to take more precaution of my slipped disc.

For sure I can grab whatever I want with the help of my sis. LOL

Miss Him So Much

Just stumble upon to an online diamond shop and the title of an article: How to Buy an Engagement Ring Online catches my eyes. Suddenly so many sweet memory come to my mind. The unforgettable moment when he shown me the engagement ring and to make an offer of marriage. The sweet memories of being together on our honey moon trip. Our first kiss and the romantic time just the two of us together. Suddenly I so miss the time before we married. I have no chance to enjoy the same romantic times with him because of my two little princesses. :P

This is his 6th days overseas. I am wondering is it because I miss him so much makes me have such a crazy mind? *shame*

Syabas New Water Meter

Dad told me that his house's water meter had changed. They came to his house when he was not at home in the afternoon. Since the water meter was installed outdoor, they can done their job easily. But I am having query why they have no intention to inform the house owner for the changed.

Maybe Syabas did announce about their new meter project. Maybe we had missed the announcement? It is a good chance as the old design meters reported so many stolen cases. With the plastic meters installed, not only to prevent theft but also reduce their meter replacement cost.

But I just can not agree with their action which they do not get the house owner involved when they take action. I am not talking about the consideration or the permission but I wish to have some respect and a fair latest meter reading.

Their hotline representative told me that they taken the latest meter reading before they took out the old meter. The new meter reading is start from zero. Don't you think it is not fair to us as a consumer? We have no chance to witness the latest meter reading. For sure I will query the accuracy of the coming billing.

It is no doubt that the residence water charges are not a big amount. Why I have such a worry? Because rumor had it that water charges was increase significantly after installation of new water meter.

Spring is Time for Baseball

My favorite spring sport to watch is baseball. I always get extremely excited near the middle of March, knowing that once April comes, I will be sitting in front of my favorite tv cable channels rooting on my favorite team. Baseball is one of the oldest sports, yet it has never lost its allure. The best things about watching baseball is being able to cheer your team to victory and watching the fans root for their team.

Being able to turn on the TV nearly every night from April until October and watch baseball is a feeling of absolute joy. Nothing matches the feeling of watching your favorite team crush a home run in the bottom of the 9th inning to win a game.

While cheering on your team makes for a great time, watching the fans at the game is fun as well. Many teams, such as the Boston Red Sox, have a tradition where there fans sing songs during certain points of the game. Being able to see such unadulterated joy on the faces of so many people at once is a feeling that can't be beat.

All in all, nothing beats being able to watch baseball during the spring. While there are other sports on during the summer, none of them can match the excitement offered by baseball.

Credit Card at Petrol Pump

Beware when using credit card to fill petrol.

Just got to know about this case through a friend that this thing actually happened to one of his co-workers.

She used her credit card to purchase gas at the pump (like most of us do). She received her receipt like normal. However, when she checked her statement, there were two $50 charges added in addition to her purchase.

Upon investigation, she found out that because she did not press the 'CLEAR' button on the pump, the employee inside the store was able to use her card to purchase his/her own gas!

To keep this from happening, after you get your receipt, you must press the 'CLEAR' button or your information will be stored until the next customer inserts their card.

Be sure to tell all your friends/family so that this doesn't happen to them!

Pressing the clear button is a must whenever your have the transactions, wherever, whenever and every time.

I used to pay by credit card every time I pump petrol. But normally hubby is the one who help me to pump. I am not aware there is a 'clear' button on the petrol pump credit card machine. After reading this email, I will be more precaution and follow the advice to press the 'clear' button every time after payment by credit card.

It is better you check your credit card bill online. Don't wait until the monthly credit card statement reaches you then only you check for your payment transactions. I had registered and I will check my payment transactions every time after I spend via payment by credit card. This is the fastest and the best way to discover any fault transaction happened.
