Carrie Junior Kids Funtime Photo Contest

We submitted photos to join the Carrie Junior Kids Funtime Photo Contest. It is great to discover this photo contest as the company is giving cash prizes and products prize to the winners. I am now dreaming I am the grand prize winner now. My aim is not only to win my princesses and my favorite products but to earn some extra fund to compensate my chiropractic adjustment fees. :P

There are many photos submitted. Some photos are really nice. Maybe those photos showing the Carrie Junior products might get higher attention by the judges but I purposely don't do that. It makes the photos look so commercial.

Start Own Business

How much do we need to start a business? I have friends who operating their online business very well. At the beginning they might having difficulty to reach potential customers as a newbie online trader. It is good to know that lately they successfully maintain a good numbers of re-purchase customers. But the sell will be up and down depending on their products re-stock. Some might have problems of re-stock or no new products that really capture more customers' attention.

I do wish to become a boss as well. But I have no channel to know and where to contact wholesale distributors or warehouse owners. So, it is a bit difficult for me to start online business with no competitive pricing products. I am no good with handcraft and art sense as well as no special skill. Thus, I never dream to become a boss who selling self-generated products. :P

I am looking forward to be a franchisee now. I learned from franchise nj that it doesn't matter a person who is really fresh without any business trading and operation experience, as long as a person dare to try, they will be consultant really to provide advise and helping hand.

As long as I got sufficient fund to start own business, I will give myself a chance to have a try.

Hookah Pipes

Have you even seen hookah pipe before? I never know this until I discovered this little pretty stuff at a Middle Eastern food restaurant. This restaurant is nearby my office. When I first saw the hookah pipes I thought that are the display items. The design and the color of the hookah pipes are so beautiful made me wrongly think that are unique art for display.

Don't laugh at me if you find me thinking like this. I am not a tobacco user for sure I have no knowledge about such thing.

My friend told me that his Middle East friends love the Al Fakher favorite. I learned that there are different flavor of tobacco. This is some thing different from the cigarettes. Honest speaking, I have no interest to try how great the taste is. But I am interested to buy one hookah pipe and make it one of the decorative items at my living hall. I will place my order online if I not manage to get this from local market....

Disconnection & Reconnection of Electricity Supply

It seems like TNB is more aggressive on collection nowadays. If you are busy until no time to settle your bill and the outstanding is over 2 months from the payable due date, their contractors will bring a red notice come to your house for the disconnection. Of course, you should receive a yellow reminder notice about the disconnection date before the contractors come.

It is no doubt that some contractors still having the bad habit of giving grace period to the house owners to settle their outstanding within few days by 'charging' some 'kopi money'. This action of course for sure is preferable for those house owners who like to avoid the interruption of electricity supply. But this is the very bad 'culture' which every one should avoid to.

If the TNB contractor who visit you for the disconnection is straight and doing his job 'professionally', he will just process the disconnection and go off.

Don't panic, all you need to do is settle your outstanding and inform the TNB via phone call (the telephone number is stated on your electricity bill) accordingly. You can either pay online, paid at post office or TNB outlet. The reconnection officer might ask you to fax over the electricity bill receipt or he / she will directly arrange for the reconnection. Please be no surprise that their reconnection contractor will come after the office hours. You can get back the electricity connection on the same day if you manage to settle the electricity charges outstanding and contact them as earlier as possible.

It is always advisable to settle your bill on time to avoid the electricity interruption.

Ideal Investment Tip

I believe the price of gold coins will be higher and higher. If I have chance to hold this investment, I will definitely hold this for long term. But I do learn that not every investment is suitable to hold in long run.

This is depends on how much is the targeted profit we want. When it reached the targeted profit, we must sell it. Then, wait for another good pricing to purchase it again. Most people believe that they can earn more so they continue hold their investment. But end up they might not get the profit as what they want.

Ideally speaking is easy but action is another story. This is why I lost the high earning opportunity when the market strong. I am too greedy...

Worst Air Quality

Who can tell me when the air quality of our country can back to normal? Not only Singapore but more and more places in our country are in high polluted level due to the burn of fires in our neighbor country. This is happening every year at the same period of the same problem.

Even though I still keep some stock of face masks I am planning to buy more for safety purpose as I don't want to be the victim of hurt by polluted air due to the face masks out of supply problem. Patient is reaching the limit.

What the steps of our government do to protect us from continue being the victims of air pollution due to the same problem? I am waiting to see a good answer.

Taiping Lake Garden

Perhaps you know we have such a beautiful green garden in Malaysia. This is Taiping Lake Garden located in Perak, Malaysia.

Hubby joined his associate photography outing and snaps many great photos. This is the best among the beautiful shoots. As you can see, it awarded the Champion title.

The Society would like to congratulate Mr Yap Wai Leong for emerging the Champion of the Taiping Photo Contest, having also won the Endau Rompin contest as well. Great work!

Upholstery Cleaning

What we will do when our sofa set is old? Normally we will just dispose it and buy a new sofa set. Agree with me? Not only we can get a comfortable one but we can select the newer or latest furniture design. But grandma in law just loves her sofa set so much. The sofa set was with her since so many years ago. She is planning to clean the sofa set so that it could look nicer. I fact, her maid accidently stained the antique sofa that made her in bad mood.

I search online and found Upholstery Cleaning Herndon service. I don't such service available in Malaysia before. Perhaps I can find one then ask them to clean on grandma in law's antique furniture. I am sure she will be very happy then.

Gold ATM Machine

There are many ATM robberies happened in our city. I feel no secure whenever I do withdrawal at local ATM machines especially those ATM machines at petrol station or public area like shopping centre. Even though there are CCTV systems at the ATM machines, but without a security guard there, it is no secure at all.

I am really impressed when I received an email regarding the launching of GOLD to go ATM at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. They can buy gold bullion and gold bar through an ATM machine! Don't you think that is a brave decision? How many countries dare to follow their step?

Armless Pianist Liu Wei

Come across a blog which bloggers are talking about the China's Got talent show. I am keen to know how the performance of the first prize winner wined the honor. I had heard many of bloggers talked about him. A young teenager plays piano with his feet.

The part that inspired me is not because he had lost his both arm. But the hard works, his strong mind and positive thinking to do whatever he likes. He committed to play piano in his age of 17. He is performance very well within two years of training. I can not imaging how he come across all the tasks and challenges. In fact, he showed the world disable is not a problem!

I wish to congratulation to his mother. I strongly believe all his success is comes from her love. Without the love, support and cares from her, he can not do it very well. No, I am wrong. He is excellent! This should be the correct way to describe him.

Internet Down

Damn! The internet connection at home is down again. This is so frustrating. I noticed that the problem is on and off happened and it seems like never get improvement at all.

We are paying for 24 hours service. No matter I am using it or not, that is my problem. All the service provider need to do is to provide a good and smooth delivery of service. This supposes to be the basic requirement. I am not too much. Isn’t it?

No matter how angry I am, the problem will not solve unless I make my complaint. This is what I need to do now. But I really feeling wasting time to talk with their support team and go over those non-sense question one by one…. *sigh*

Dream to be a Franchisee

Hubby put the lottery tickets on his table. The first comes to my mind: Yes. This is something what we need.

How to earn extra income since both of us are under full time employment? My weekend now is spent on Chiropractic adjustment. I can not squeeze any more time to work part time. Hubby schedule even more worst. He is pack till force to give up joining a few photography activities.

Obviously be the lottery winner is our hope now. If we can win the big prize, I will surely committed to start own business. I am looking forward to be self employed perhaps be a franchisee. I have this dream after I discover the Seattle franchise opportunities. It doesn't matter which type of franchise business I can operate. As long I have fund to invest, I can start my dream easily.

The True Wisdom

One who is knowledgeable, smart and cleaver but can not be wisdom.

You can say you are wisdom enough with what you had learned. Your say and your act will tell. No matter how best you are I am doubt if you are no morality and conduct.

Wisdom with morality and conduct is the true wisdom. This is more to be a human.

This is the best I had learned this week. Through an incident happened, I found another angle to think, to look, and to understand a situation.

Silver Medal

The photo competition judgment will be held this coming Sunday. Hubby is looking forward to be one of the winners. I can see he is putting so much of effort to perfect the submission.

Every one wishes to be the prize winner whenever they participant into competition. In fact, we don't know how much bullion contained in the gold, metal and bronze medals. But we love to have one if we have chances to own it. So do hubby.

Since hubby win gold and bronze prize before. He is now looking forward to grab the silver medal. I wish him all the best!

Crab Spider

Do you ever saw this kind of spider? I don't like spider especially those stay in my house. I hate to see their webs in my house. :P

But this white color crab spider looks pretty, isn't it? Hubby found this crab spider in a garden and he is lucky to attend the crab spider hunting show.

It is excited to see the little ant came and wished to share crab spider's food. But the crab spider is smart enough to escape and enjoy his lunch peacefully.
